A stone village at the foot of Voras, the closest one to the ski centre. Snow and skiing in winter, and lakes, waterfalls and hot springs the rest of the year.
Stone houses, flagstone lanes and tavernas at 1,100 metres. Palaios Agios Athanasios is the closest settlement to the ski centre and one of the loveliest villages in Macedonia.

The hot springs near Aridaia, 44 km away. Water at 37 degrees inside the gorge, even when it is snowing. The classic winter day out here.

A really lovely, warm house. It comfortably took all seven of us. I hope we get to see it under snow next time; that was the only thing missing.
We stayed for the long Clean Monday weekend. A very well-kept house, spotless, everything you need available. We were delighted.
